Help Us Rebuild Kibbutz Misgav-Am.

Our Story, Then and Now.

Kibbutz Misgav-Am, called "Stronghold of the People", is located in Northern Israel. We are a small but vibrant community nestled in the mountains of the Upper Galilee region. We are known for our strong spirit and close-knit ties.

Founded on November 2, 1945, Kibbutz Misgav-Am was established by Palmach fighters atop a ridge 2,770 feet above sea level, along Israel’s northernmost border with Lebanon. Misgav-Am has long served as a critical frontline outpost, overlooking southern Lebanon, Mount Hermon, and the Hula Valley.

On October 8, 2023, Everything Changed

In the wake of Hezbollah missile attacks nearly all 300 residents were evacuated. A small team of veteran kibbutz members—the kitat konenut—remained to defend the border, later joined by IDF units.

Though no lives were lost, the damage was devastating:

  • 90% of vineyards burned

  • Orchards destroyed

  • Chicken farm hit directly multiple times by missiles

  • Solar farm—providing 100% of electricity—heavily damaged

  • Kindergarten, clinic, swimming pool, homes, severely impacted and lookout point destroyed

You can make a difference today by supporting our cause through the JGive donation page. Your contribution will directly aid in the reconstruction efforts and help us rebuild the heart of Kibbutz Misgav-Am.

Join us in standing strong with Kibbutz Misgav-Am as we work together to overcome adversity and build a brighter tomorrow. Together, we can make a lasting impact and show the world the resilience of our community. Thank you for your support.
